Read the November minutes.
Bill Kirkpatrick received the information on the AMA brick we purchased for George Estes.
Steve Harbin requested the club to consider making room for a U-Control circle. The club felt that there is room for this at the center of the crossing runways. Once the weather warms up we will measure for a circle there. Since we have been flying mostly one plane at a time it should not be a problem flying U-control there. Some other members still have u-control planes and are interested in dusting them off and flying them again.
Our bank account stands at $1270.05
Bill Kirkpatrick has found our EIN and will talk with our bank about changing our checking account to a business account. He will also investigate what tax forms might be necessary.
Four members have not renewed their AMA membership. I'm sure you have just forgotten. Please update ASAP.
I have received a dues payment from a guy in Florida. I'm sure he has sent his dues to the wrong club as there is a Tri-County R/C in Florida. This has happened once before. I will call this guy and destroy his check.
Payments were made to Steve Hundley for the telescoping plane retrieving pole and to Doug McCaig for Christmas party gifts.
Show and Tell:
Steve Huntley showed his AT6 Texan ARF made by Top Flight. He has install a DLE 20 cc gas engine. The plane requires 9 channels with the gas engine conversion.
The next meeting will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday February 1, 2018 at the Anderson County Airport.
